Kevin and Elaine Staircase Renovation
Kevin and Elaine asked us to give them a quote for removing their existing staircase with a new solid oak one. We suggested a renovation to the existing staircase that would be much more cost-effective. They were delighted with this proposal as the remainder of their budget allowed us to design a bespoke recessed oak bookshelf.
The plan of work consisted of:
- Strip out the handrail and spindles to the old staircase
- Clad the stringers and newel posts with oak veneer giving the appearance of solid oak
- Fit new solid oak handrail.
- Supply and fit toughened glass
- Cut open wall and frame out ready for recessed bookshelf
- Manufacture oak veneer bookshelf
- Varnished all woodwork
- We manage all the trades involved so there is only ever one point of contact for the customer
